We are but marionettes on a stage.
Our strings burried deep in our skin.
Tugged this way, pulled that way.
To our puppet master's whim.
Will we ever possibly break free?
Just a random doodle I did quite awhile I ago. I like everything but her face. As you could probably tell..I am not good with backgrounds. She's supposed to be in a spotlight on a stage or something.
Regular number two pencil, sketching paper, a bit of editing in photoshop. Just simply lowering the saturation.
I think the face is the best part. She doesn't even care that her eyes are covered by her hair because she's given up caring about anything at all, really.
Why look to see what's happening to you if you have no control over any of it? But even more than that, she looks like she'd prefer not to see.
That's exactly what I pictured she'd be feeling/thinking. You're very good.
Thank you very much, I kind of do like this picture. Despite the fact there are some things wrong with it.
And my scanner screwed around with it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
